The wrap is designed to combine the visual interest of garter stitch interweaved with the slip stitch (not to mention the enjoyment of knitting it!) with a fullness of texture that lends it a more rugged, contemporary look.
Gauge:
28 stitches by 36 stitches over 10 cm by 10 cm with US 3.0 (3.25mm) needles
Finished Dimensions:
Width: 21.5” (55 cm)
Length: 70” (178 cm)
Notes:
The wrap is rectangular, knitted along the length.
Work each pair of rows in one colour. Repeat each row 29 times between the edge stitches.
Materials
Koigu pencil yarn, KPPPM, 20 skeins, 25g/87 yds/80m each. Assign each of the 20 colours a letter from A-T
Waste yarn
US 3.0 (3.25 mm), 120 cm (147”) circulars is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
