This cardigan is knit in 2 pieces: a top-down piece in solid coloured yarn, and a wave part in contrasting coloured yarn, providing an opportunity to use up leftover skeins of KPPPM. Both pieces are grafted together. The ¾ length sleeves compliment the waves design and solid-coloured upper body.

Materials: Koigu Premium Merino (KPM):7 (8, 10, 11)skeins solid colour (50 gm/175yds/160m) 2170; Koigu Painter’s Palette Premium Merino (KPPPM): 1 skein each (50g/175yds/160m) P918, P850, P461, P820, P412, P100, P416, P425; 4 stitch markers; 2 magnetic buttons, or regular buttons
Needles:US2/3mm needles, or size to achieve gauge
Gauge:24sts = 4 inches/10 cm in garter stitch
